Solid Air Consultancy is an independent provider of service management training and consultancy services. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your information at all times.

We are committed to maintaining your trust and want you to know that we are not in the business of selling, trading or renting email lists for any purposes. We just don't do that sort of thing.

  • your employer/company name
  • your email address (could be work or personal)
  • your employer/company address
  • your delivery address for training materials (could be work or home)
  • your course/workshop location
  • your course/workshop attendance (including dates and times)
  • your examination candidate number
  • your examination results (including in-course tests and mock exams)
  • your feedback regarding our training courses, events and workshops
  • your payment details (for partners and suppliers)
  • any special needs you may have to allow you to participate in our programmes
  • any other information you provide relating to training and consultancy services

How we collect the information

We may collect your information to enable us to provide you with our training and consultancy services, or to receive services from you where you are a partner or supplier.

We may obtain information from you when:

  • you contact us in relation to our training and consultancy services
  • you place an order with us for training and consultancy services
  • you engage with us and use our training and consultancy services
  • you are booked to attend one of our training courses by your employer
  • you register to attend one of our training courses or workshops
  • you attend one of our training courses or consultancy workshops
  • you take a test or examination as part of one of our training courses
  • your examination board provides us with your examination result
  • you provide feedback following our training courses and workshops
  • you apply to work with our organisation as a partner or supplier
  • you provide services to our organisation as a partner or supplier

If you are a booking a service on behalf of others within your organisation you confirm that you have gained the delegates/candidates permission for their information to be provided, used and stored for the purposes of providing the services you have requested on their behalf.

Why we need the information

The information that we collect and process is used for the purposes of providing training and consultancy services to our customers, or receiving services from our partners and suppliers.

Your information may be used for the following purposes:

  • to provide our customers with the best possible training and consultancy service
  • to provide you with information regarding services that you request from us
  • to communicate with you regarding the delivery or provision of any services
  • to establish an agreement or contract with you to provide or receive services
  • to meet our obligations arising from any contracts or agreements with you
  • to comply with the legal and industry regulatory obligations that we are subject to
  • to manage your registration to attend our training courses, events or workshops
  • to process your course enrolment with examination bodies and training partners
  • to maintain training records of your course attendance and test/examination results
  • to seek your views or comments to enable us to improve the services we provide
  • to issue invoices and receive payments from customers for the services we provide
  • to process your application to work with our organisation as a partner or supplier
  • to enable you to perform a contract to provide services as a partner or supplier
  • to monitor and manage your performance as a partner or supplier to our organisation
  • to receive invoices and make payments to partners and suppliers for services provided
  • to maintain customer records and accounts as required to manage our business
  • to carry out statistical analysis for reporting and trending (on an anonymised basis)
  • to protect our legitimate business interests and our legal rights to conduct our business
  • for the establishment, pursuance or defence of any legal or regulatory claims
When we share the information

We may share your information with the parties set out below strictly for the purposes set out within this privacy notice:

  • our internal administrative support team, trainers, consultants and coaches
  • our partners and suppliers including associate trainers, consultants and coaches
  • our professional advisors such as our auditors, legal advisors and financial advisors
  • your employer where your employer has undertaken the booking on your behalf
  • our training partner providing the virtual classroom training platform (GoToTraining)
  • our examination partner providing examinations and accreditation (PeopleCert)
  • external service providers who provide our IT and system administration services
  • relevant government authorities, industry regulators or law enforcement agencies
  • any third party in connection with the sale, transfer or merger of our business

All third parties are required to respect the security of your information and to treat it in strict accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Any service providers based in the US are part of Privacy Shield which requires them to ensure applicable safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with this privacy notice.

How we store the information

We will only retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your information from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed.

In addition, we limit access to your information only to those employees, agents, partners and third parties who have a business need to know in relation to the purposes set out in this privacy notice.

Your personal data rights

You have the following rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal information:

  • To request us to provide a copy of your information
  • To request us to update your personal information
  • To request us to erase your personal information
  • To request us to restrict processing of your information
  • To object to us processing your personal information
  • To request us to transfer your personal information
